Each teacher or parent who is mentoring a class can print out the entire Manual as well as whatever play study guide you will be using for the semester. Student ManualWhat pages do we print out for our students?
One copy of the entire Student Manual may be printed or copied for each student, as well as a copy of the play study guide you will be using for each student. How many student copies can we print out? One for each student you are teaching! |
Director's GuideWhat do we have permission to print out?
The Director, Producer, and Stage Manager can each print out a copy of the entire Director's Guide. What pages can we copy for the parent volunteers? The Job Description page for each Production Committee member may be copied for each volunteer. The Director, Producer, and Stage Manager should each keep a copy of each page, as well. What are the extra documents that came with the PDF? There are two editable spreadsheets in Excel format that come with the Director's Guide; a sample rehearsal schedule and the production Committee Volunteer list. Edited PlaysHow do you bind the scripts with the column formatting used?
The edited plays are laid out in a landscape page format with two columns on each page. This allows for ease of use during blocking rehearsals. Scripts could be bound in a three-ring binder or with coil binding. Do you print out a script copy for each student, or can we just e-mail the cast members the script? I usually just e-mail each family a PDF copy of the script and instruct them to print them out. A director with a larger budget upfront could print out the scripts and bind them or put them in a folder for the students. It's simply a matter of individual taste and available budget. |
